Delonghi

Delonghi Flat Panel Heaters
Delonghi makes only flat panel type micathermic heaters. The two models featured here are always among the top 3 or 4 best selling micathermic heaters.

Delonghi also sells micathermic heaters under the Lakewood brand name.

Similarities:
Both of the flat panel heaters shown below share the following features:
  • Adjustable thermostat
  • Two heat settings (750/1500 watts),
  • Over heat protection - tip over switch
  • Casters
  • Carry handle
  • 1 year warranty
  • Hardware for optional wall mounting

How they differ:
Model HMP: ($50) The model name "HMP" is not usually included in the product description of this popular and highly rated heater. Instead, you will see the HMP going by the name Delonghi Mica Panel Heater as well as Delonghi Black Mica Panel Heater

The HMP is also smaller and less expensive than the HHP.

Model HHP: ($110) Although the heaters pictured above appear to be the same size, the HHP is quite a bit larger than the HMP. The surface area of the HHP (26" x 20" - 520 square inches) is almost twice the size of the HMP (19" x 14" - 266 square inches). A larger heating surface means faster heat up and increased coverage.

The HHP also has safety features not present on the HMP which, according to DeLonghi, make it suitable for bathroom use - especially if you hang it on the wall. These additional safety features include what the manufacturer describes as "water splash protection" which includes a Ground Fault Interupter (GFI) plug to protect against electrical shock.

  1. A heater in an electric instrument, used to heat water, building, cars etc. It's used to maintain a constant temperature on room or water. During the cold winter months, your heating system must be working properly. If it don't work properly you should fix it. No heat anchorage
